Middlebury College refunds tuition on a declining schedule after the semester starts, so timing a withdrawal matters.
The refund covers the combined comprehensive fee, tuition, room, board, and the student activity fee together, not tuition alone, so by week 4 a withdrawing family only recovers 25% of everything paid. The enrollment deposit is forfeited in all cases regardless of withdrawal date.
