The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign’s Computer Science and Engineering programs are ranked among the top five in the world, and one of the most important things you can do as a parent is help your student engage with the career services and internship pipeline during their first year. The UIUC-to-Silicon-Valley pipeline is not hype. Google, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, and Meta recruit aggressively on campus. Starting salaries for UIUC CS and engineering graduates routinely clear six figures. But that pipeline rewards the students who show up to career fairs in September of freshman year, not the ones who discover the Engineering Career Services office in junior year. Knowing this before your student arrives is not a small thing.
This guide covers everything else you need: the full logistics of move-in in late-August central Illinois heat, the residence halls your student is likely to call home, what to know about Champaign-Urbana as a place, the real cost picture (which varies significantly depending on which college your student is in), Family Weekend hotel strategy, mental health resources at a large public university, and the contacts you will want on your phone before move-in day.

Illinois Loyalty: A Note on Illini Identity
When your student scores a touchdown or aces a prelim, you will learn what “I-L-L” means. The crowd answers “I-N-I.” It is one of the great simple cheers in college sports, and it has been echoing across Memorial Stadium for generations of Illini families.
The UIUC campus has a strong sense of place that surprises some first-time visitors. The main Quad is genuinely beautiful, a long sweep of open lawn lined with old brick buildings that signals you are somewhere that has been doing serious intellectual work for a long time. The Alma Mater statue stands at the center of campus, and Illini graduates have a tradition of touching her for good luck before major exams. The Engineering Quad, tucked behind Grainger Library, has its own energy, a cluster of buildings where some of the most consequential computing and engineering research in the world happens on an ordinary Tuesday.
The Morrow Plots, a small section of farmland in the middle of campus, have been under continuous agricultural experimentation since 1876, making them the oldest experimental agricultural fields in the Western Hemisphere. They are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Your student will walk past them every day. That combination of elite research, practical Midwestern utility, and genuine history is the Illini identity in a nutshell.
One note on campus culture: the University of Illinois retired Chief Illiniwek as its official mascot in 2007 following a long period of debate and a decision by the NCAA. The university now uses the Alma Mater, the Block I, and “Illini” as its primary identity symbols. The mascot question remains a point of ongoing conversation in some alumni communities. Your student will encounter this context and it is worth knowing before they arrive.

How do parents get to University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign? Travel guide from the nearest major airport
Champaign is not near a major hub, and the practical question for families is which airport or approach makes the most sense for your geography.
CMI (Willard Airport, Champaign): Champaign has its own regional airport, about 20 minutes from campus. When you can get a nonstop, it is the most convenient option by a wide margin. Service is limited primarily to connections through Chicago O’Hare and Dallas, so availability can be thin and fares can be high. Check it early in your planning, especially for move-in and holiday travel.
ORD (Chicago O’Hare): For most families traveling from the coasts or from international connections, this is the practical answer. O’Hare is approximately 2.5 hours from Champaign by car, heading south on I-57. The drive is genuinely easy: flat, well-signed, and mostly light on traffic outside of Chicago metro. Rental cars are widely available at O’Hare and there are no significant geographic complications on the route. Budget families should also know about the Amtrak Illinois Central route, which runs Chicago to Champaign in approximately 2.5 hours and deposits passengers at the Champaign station on the edge of campus. For a student traveling alone, or for a parent visiting without a car, this train is a legitimately good option.
STL (St. Louis Lambert International): For families coming from the south or west, St. Louis is approximately 1.5 hours from Champaign on I-57. It serves fewer routes than O’Hare but the drive is short and the fares can be meaningfully lower.
Driving distances from major cities: Chicago is approximately 2.5 hours via I-57. Indianapolis is approximately 2 hours via I-74. St. Louis is approximately 1.5 hours via I-57/I-70. All three are straightforward, flat, and well-traveled.
Parking in Champaign: Champaign is a mid-sized city with abundant parking by the standards of a college town. Campus itself requires permits on weekdays, but residential and commercial areas have plentiful street parking on evenings and weekends. Downtown Champaign has free parking in evenings and on weekends in most surface lots.
What do parents need to know about University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign move-in day 2026?
UIUC move-in takes place in late August, with specific dates and time windows assigned by residence hall. Check your student’s MyHousing portal for their exact window once assignments are finalized.
The first thing you need to know about move-in at UIUC is the weather. Late August in central Illinois is hot. Not Florida-hurricane-season hot, but 85 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit and humid, with the kind of flat-terrain heat that has nowhere to go. Central Illinois summers are serious, and the lack of shade trees in open areas of campus means the sun hits directly. Bring water. Dress for it. Plan for multiple trips to be physical and slow. This is not the moment to be surprised by the weather.
UIUC runs a well-organized move-in system, and that is genuinely good news. Student volunteers, many of them wearing matching shirts and collectively known as the Move-In Crew, staff every residence hall entrance on move-in days. They will help carry boxes, point you in the right direction, and create the kind of organized chaos that moves faster than it looks. Arrive at the start of your assigned window. Early is not rewarded at a school this size; your assigned time exists to prevent gridlock.
One smart move for families traveling from a distance: ship boxes to your student’s room address in advance. University Housing at UIUC can receive and hold packages before move-in, and this takes meaningful weight off move-in day logistics. Verify the specific procedures and cutoff dates at housing.illinois.edu each year.
The main freshman residential areas are clustered in two primary zones: the Illinois Street Residence Halls and Pennsylvania Avenue Residence Halls complex on the east side of campus, and the Six Pack cluster of mid-rise halls in the central campus area. Your student’s specific assignment will determine which zone you navigate. Both are well-marked and the Move-In Crew knows them well.
After the room is set up and you have taken the first round of photos, Green Street is your natural landing point for a family dinner. Green Street is the commercial strip immediately adjacent to the campus edge, lined with restaurants, coffee shops, and everything a college student needs within walking distance. It can handle the crowd of move-in weekend. End the day there, let the dinner run long, and give yourself permission to linger before the goodbye. Central Illinois goodbyes have a particular character: there is nothing between you and the horizon in any direction, and the drive north on I-57 in the dark has a specific melancholy to it that parents of UIUC students know well.
Where do University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign freshmen live? A guide to residence halls and dorms
UIUC’s residence hall system is one of the largest and best-run in the country. The university strongly encourages freshmen to live on campus, and many academic programs either require it or strongly recommend it for the first year.
With roughly 57,000 students, the residential system has developed a well-organized infrastructure for freshman orientation and community building.
Illinois Street Residence Halls (ISR): ISR is a large modern complex on the east side of campus, close to the Engineering Quad and the applied sciences buildings. It is a single interconnected building with many floors, suite-style room configurations, and multiple dining options within the complex, including the ISR Dining Hall. ISR has developed a reputation as particularly social and as a strong community for students in engineering, computer science, and the sciences. If your student was assigned here, they are likely to have a peer group that shares their academic intensity and, in many cases, their major. The proximity to the Engineering Quad is genuinely useful for students with early 8 a.m. labs.
Pennsylvania Avenue Residence Halls (PAR): PAR is adjacent to ISR and shares its modern design and large-complex character. The Taft and Lincoln buildings are within this complex. PAR has its own dining facility, the PAR Dining Hall, and offers a similar community feel to ISR. The two complexes together house a very large portion of UIUC’s freshman class and have their own dining and programming ecosystem.
The Six Pack: Six mid-rise residence halls make up the cluster informally called the Six Pack: Weston, Trelease, Wardall, Barton, Lundgren, and Forbes. Located in the central part of campus, the Six Pack halls are closer to the main Quad, to the undergraduate library, and to the humanities and social science buildings. They have a more traditional residence hall feel than the large ISR/PAR complex and tend to attract students across a wider range of majors. If your student is in the liberal arts, education, or social sciences, the Six Pack may feel more naturally connected to their academic day.
Allen Hall: Allen is one of UIUC’s smaller, more intentionally community-focused residence halls. It has long been associated with arts, creative fields, and interdisciplinary living-learning programs. Students who choose Allen typically have a specific interest in its community character. If your student was placed in or requested Allen, they were likely matched for a reason.
Busey-Evans: A pair of traditional-style halls close to the Engineering Quad, Busey and Evans tend to attract students with strong engineering and science interests. They are smaller and have a more traditional hall configuration than ISR, with a tighter community feel.
Dining: Illinois Dining operates a system of dining facilities across the residence halls. ISR and PAR have their own dedicated dining centers, and the Ikenberry Commons dining area on the west side of campus serves students in that part of the residential system. The UIUC dining program has consistently been recognized as one of the better large-university dining operations in the country. Menu variety, dietary accommodation, and overall quality are genuine strengths of the system.
After freshman year, most students move off campus to apartments on Green Street, Springfield Avenue, or in the adjacent neighborhoods of Champaign and Urbana. The rental market near campus is dense and the pricing is affordable by big-city standards, which is one of the practical advantages of being in central Illinois rather than in a coastal college town.
Champaign-Urbana: What Parents Need to Know
Champaign-Urbana is a twin-city college community in the fullest sense. Champaign is the commercial city, to the east of campus, with the downtown restaurant and retail district centered on Neil Street and Chester Street.
Urbana is the university city, to the west, home to city hall, the Urbana-Champaign Independent Media Center, and a slightly more arts-and-community-oriented character. The UIUC campus straddles both cities, and for practical purposes most students and parents move freely between both cities.
The university is the dominant fact of the area. Champaign-Urbana exists in its current form because of UIUC, and the community is deeply oriented toward academic-year rhythms, student services, and the infrastructure of a serious research university.
Green Street is the commercial strip that lines the north edge of campus, and it is where most day-to-day student life happens. Restaurants in every category, coffee shops, convenience stores, the campus bookstore. If you are visiting and want to stay close to where your student lives, Green Street is your center of gravity. There is a Trader Joe’s on Green Street near campus, which your student will almost certainly thank you for pointing out on your first visit.
Downtown Champaign (centered on Neil Street and the surrounding blocks) has developed into a genuinely good restaurant district. A parent visit dinner in downtown Champaign can be excellent. Seven Saints is a reliable choice for a good dinner in a comfortable setting. Black Dog Smoke and Ale House is a local institution for barbecue and has earned its reputation. Radio Maria on North Market Street offers eclectic global-influenced food in a distinctive space. Pizzeria Antica is a strong option for pizza when your student wants something close to campus.
Grocery and everyday needs: Meijer is the dominant full-service grocery option in the area, with large stores accessible by car or bus. There is also a Schnucks near campus. The Trader Joe’s on Green Street serves students who prefer to walk.
Healthcare: The two major hospital systems in the area are Carle Foundation Hospital and OSF HealthCare Heart of Mary Medical Center, both in Champaign-Urbana. For routine student health needs, McKinley Health Center is the on-campus student health facility and should be your student’s first contact for non-emergency medical care.
The landscape: Central Illinois is famously, spectacularly flat. If your family is coming from the mountains, the coast, or any terrain with discernible topography, the drive into Champaign can feel genuinely disorienting. The sky is enormous. The fields extend to the horizon in every direction. Some students (and parents) find this oppressive at first. Others discover they love the wide open prairie light and the particular kind of clarity that comes with a flat horizon. It is worth naming before your student arrives so the landscape does not catch them off guard.
The winters: Champaign winters are cold, flat, and very windy. Without any terrain to slow it, wind moves freely across central Illinois from November through March. The average January high temperature is around 30 degrees Fahrenheit. Students from warm climates, and parents planning winter visits, should plan accordingly. A warm coat, waterproof boots, and layers are not optional. The good news is that the campus is navigable in winter, the residence halls are well-heated, and the local community knows how to function in cold weather. But the first February in Champaign is something students from Miami or Atlanta remember for a long time.
How much does University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign cost? Tuition, financial aid, and scholarships for 2026-27
UIUC’s cost structure has an important complexity that every family needs to understand before making financial plans: tuition varies significantly by college. A student in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences pays meaningfully less than a student in the Grainger College of Engineering or the Department of Computer Science.
The differential is not trivial. CS and Engineering tuition can run several thousand dollars per year higher than the general tuition base. Verify your student’s specific college tuition at registrar.illinois.edu before finalizing any budget.
| Expense | In-State | Out-of-State |
|---|---|---|
| Tuition and Fees | Approximately $16,000-$22,000 (varies by college; verify) | Approximately $34,000-$46,000 (varies by college; verify) |
| Room and Board | Approximately $12,000-$14,000 (verify) | Approximately $12,000-$14,000 (verify) |
| Books and Supplies | Approximately $1,200 | Approximately $1,200 |
| Personal and Transportation | Approximately $2,500 | Approximately $2,500 |
| Estimated Total | Approximately $31,700-$39,700 | Approximately $49,700-$63,700 |
All figures should be verified at registrar.illinois.edu, housing.illinois.edu, and the specific college’s admissions materials for the 2026-27 academic year.
Named scholarship programs: UIUC offers several significant merit scholarship programs worth researching early. The President’s Award Program is among the university’s most prestigious merit scholarship designations. The university also awards Provost Scholarships to high-achieving admitted students. Many individual colleges, particularly engineering and business, offer college-specific scholarships that can be meaningful. The financial aid office at illinois.edu/admissions is the authoritative source for current award levels and eligibility criteria.
The ROI context for engineering and CS families: The tuition differential for CS and Engineering at UIUC is real, and it requires an honest financial conversation. But the earnings data on the other side of the equation are also real. UIUC CS and Engineering graduates enter the job market with extraordinary leverage. Starting salaries above $100,000 are common for CS graduates at major tech companies. The ten-year median earnings for UIUC graduates are strong overall, and for graduates in technical fields they are among the highest of any public university in the country. This does not make the four-year cost irrelevant, but it changes the return-on-investment calculation in a meaningful way.
For families with a financing gap, it is worth comparing private loan options carefully before accepting the first offer. See the full college finances guide below for how to evaluate private loan terms.

When is University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Family Weekend 2026 and how do parents plan for it?
University of Illinois does not hold a single family weekend. Its Family Tailgate is September 12, 2026.
Illinois spreads family programming across the year: the Family Tailgate on September 12, a Dads Weekend November 6 to 8, and a Moms Weekend April 9 to 11, 2027. Register for whichever fits your family.
Confirm the schedule and registration on the official family weekend page, and reconfirm the date before booking travel in case it changes. Hotels near campus sell out early, so book as soon as dates are confirmed.
Comparing schools? See our 2026 parents weekend and family weekend dates for every college in one place.
University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign refunds tuition on a declining schedule after the semester starts, so timing a withdrawal matters.
If a student simply stops attending instead of formally filing a withdrawal, they get flagged for an unofficial-withdrawal review at semester’s end, and the federal aid clawback calculation then defaults to using the midpoint of the semester as the withdrawal date, often worse financially than the date the student actually stopped attending. Officially withdrawing protects the family even when it feels like a formality.
Refund schedule: for Fall 2026 (16-week semester, classes begin Aug 23): 90% refund through Sept 4, 80% through Sept 11, 70% through Sept 25, 60% through Oct 9, 50% through Oct 16, 40% through Oct 30, 0% after that. Shorter 8-week sessions use the same tiers on their own earlier schedule. A flat $50 administrative fee applies to any withdrawal. Confirmed via the official University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign refund policy page. Policies and dates change every term, so verify directly before making a decision.
Advertising disclosure: this is a paid partner link. UniversityParent may earn a commission if you purchase through it.
Most colleges do not refund 100% of tuition once the semester starts.
GradGuard Tuition Insurance can reimburse tuition, housing, and fees if a covered illness, injury, mental health condition, or other covered reason forces a withdrawal during the term. Plans must be purchased before the semester begins.
Illinois automatically charges you for its Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) unless you submit a waiver with proof of comparable coverage.
Alternative coverage must be U.S.-based with domestic phone support, give access to specific approved regional hospitals, and meet ACA standards including no lifetime limits, so a family’s out-of-state or international plan may not qualify even if otherwise comprehensive.
Cost: $1,752/year ($876/semester) for the undergraduate student tier, preliminary 2026-27 figure subject to final adjustment. Waiver deadline: Fall 2026: August 22 to September 25, 2026. An approved waiver covers the full academic year it’s approved for, so a student doesn’t need to reapply for spring of the same year, but must resubmit for a new academic year. Confirmed via the official University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign student health insurance page. Costs and deadlines change every year, so verify directly before relying on this.
Illinois’s health center will not start a new stimulant prescription under any circumstances.
McKinley Health Center does not diagnose ADHD and will only continue an existing treatment plan if the student supplies a legible letter or medical records from a licensed clinical psychologist or psychiatrist. Documentation from a home primary care physician is explicitly not accepted.
Confirmed via the official University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign student health page. Policies can change, so verify directly with the health center before relying on this.
Illinois does not publish a clear freshman car policy.
No official page states an explicit freshman ban or allowance either way. Residence-hall parking access is uneven by hall: most traditional dorms (the Urbana Res Halls, Ikenberry Commons) are assigned outlying lots rather than adjacent parking, while a few halls (Daniels, Sherman) and apartment-style communities have dedicated nearby lots. Worth a direct call to Parking (217-333-3530) to confirm freshman eligibility before publishing a firm yes/no.
Freshman permit cost: $960/year for the standard 12-month student permit (not freshman-specific). Confirmed via the official Illinois parking page. Policies can change year to year, so verify before move-in.
UIUC Family Weekend typically takes place in October, when the campus is at its most beautiful and the Illinois fall has not yet turned cold. The weekend includes programming across all colleges, a family brunch, campus tours, and generally a home football game at Memorial Stadium.
Verify the exact 2026 dates at familyweekend.illinois.edu once they are announced, typically by early summer.
Memorial Stadium holds approximately 60,000 people, which makes Illini home games significant logistical events for a mid-sized city. Champaign has a reasonable hotel inventory for normal weekends. For game weekends, and especially for Family Weekend when games and academic programming coincide, that inventory fills quickly. Book your Family Weekend hotel as soon as dates are announced, not in September when you realize you haven’t done it.
If local options are full by the time you look, do not panic. Indianapolis is approximately two hours east on I-74 and has extensive hotel inventory at a range of price points. Chicago is approximately 2.5 hours north on I-57. Either city works as a home base if you are willing to drive in the morning. For Champaign bookings:
One underused option for winter parent visits: UIUC basketball. State Farm Center is a well-regarded arena and the Illini men’s basketball program has genuine history and a strong game-day atmosphere. A basketball weekend in January or February is quieter, hotel inventory is easy, and the campus has a different, more focused energy that can be a good counterpoint to the high-stimulus arrival of October Family Weekend.
How can parents support their University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign student’s mental health?
One of the realities of parenting a student at a large, high-achieving public university is that the academic pressure is real, the campus is large enough that students can feel anonymous, and the gap between how well other people appear to be doing and how well your student actually feels can seem enormous.
This is worth naming directly, especially for students in UIUC’s CS and Engineering programs, where the culture of high performance and the density of extraordinarily talented peers can create a specific kind of pressure. Many students in these programs go through periods of believing that everyone else is thriving and only they are struggling. This is a near-universal experience in these programs. Naming it for your student before they arrive, and maintaining open conversation about it, is one of the most useful things you can do.
Counseling Center at UIUC: The UIUC Counseling Center provides counseling, crisis intervention, and mental health support to enrolled students. The center has expanded its services in recent years to address demand at a large university. Because demand at a school of 57,000 is substantial, initial appointment availability can be limited, particularly at peak stress points in the semester (midterms and finals). Encourage your student to contact the center early if they are struggling rather than waiting until a crisis point. Find current contact information, hours, and appointment procedures at counselingcenter.illinois.edu. The center also maintains a crisis line for students who need immediate support.
McKinley Health Center: McKinley is the on-campus student health facility and handles both physical health and serves as a gateway to mental health and counseling services for students who may not know where to start. Find them at mckinley.illinois.edu.
TimelyCare: UIUC has expanded access to telehealth mental health services for students. Verify current availability and how to access it through the Counseling Center or McKinley websites.
For students who need support outside of campus wait times: Online therapy can bridge the gap between campus counseling availability and a student who needs to talk to someone now.
Crisis resources: If your student is in crisis, the UIUC Counseling Center crisis line is available after hours. The national 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline is available 24 hours a day by call or text. Emergency services are available at 911. Keep these numbers accessible. Share them with your student in a non-alarmist way before they arrive.
Who do University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign parents contact? Essential numbers and websites for families
Do not try to remember these from memory. Save them in your phone before move-in day.
- Family Resource Center (Parent Programs): families.illinois.edu (the university’s primary hub for parent and family information and programming)
- Dean of Students: dos.illinois.edu
- University Housing: housing.illinois.edu
- Student Financial Aid: financialaid.illinois.edu
- McKinley Health Center: mckinley.illinois.edu
- Counseling Center: counselingcenter.illinois.edu
- Registrar: registrar.illinois.edu
- University Police (non-emergency): Available via the UIUC Police Department at police.illinois.edu; verify non-emergency number at that site before publishing this guide
- Emergency: 911
A note: phone numbers at university offices change, and publishing a number that has been reassigned is worse than publishing a URL. All contacts above should be verified at their respective illinois.edu subdomains before finalizing this guide, and any print or scheduled email use should include the URL rather than a direct phone number that may be outdated.
What is University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign known for academically? Top programs and research strengths
UIUC is not one university. It is closer to a dozen universities sharing a campus, a library system, and a remarkable research infrastructure. Understanding which part of the university your student is entering matters for how you understand their experience.
Grainger College of Engineering: One of the top engineering schools in the United States by any ranking, with particular depth in electrical engineering, computer engineering, civil and environmental engineering, and mechanical engineering. The department’s connections to industry are extensive, and the career fair in the fall is one of the largest engineering recruiting events in the country. If your student is in Grainger, the Engineering Career Services office should be on their calendar within the first two weeks of freshman year.
Computer Science (within Grainger): UIUC CS is consistently ranked among the top five CS programs in the world. The alumni network from this program runs deep into the leadership of major technology companies. Marc Andreessen, who co-created the Mosaic browser and co-founded Andreessen Horowitz, is a UIUC CS alumnus. So are the founders of YouTube and PayPal. The pipeline from UIUC CS to top-tier tech companies is not anecdotal; it is structural and well-maintained by the university’s career and alumni infrastructure.
Gies College of Business: Gies has a strong reputation, particularly for its accounting and finance programs. Its online MBA program has been ranked among the very best in the world, and that reputation carries over to the undergraduate college’s standing. The Gies accounting program in particular has a strong Big Four accounting firm placement record.
College of Media: One of the oldest and most historically significant journalism and media programs in the country. UIUC’s media college has a strong reputation in broadcast journalism, advertising, and public relations, with meaningful alumni networks in Chicago and national media.
College of Fine and Applied Arts: UIUC has genuine strength in architecture, music, dance, and theater that is underappreciated by families focused on the engineering and business rankings. If your student is in FAA, they are at a program with more depth and professional connection than its name suggests.
Research opportunities: UIUC is a top-five research university by research expenditure in the United States. For motivated undergraduates, this means genuine opportunities to work in research labs, contribute to published work, and build a graduate school application profile that is difficult to replicate at smaller institutions. Encourage your student to talk to their faculty members about research opportunities, ideally by the end of their first year.
Alumni network: UIUC has more than 700,000 living alumni, with particularly deep concentrations in Silicon Valley and Chicago business. In tech recruiting, the density of UIUC alumni at major companies creates a referral network that is one of the university’s most valuable practical assets. Your student should activate their UIUC alumni network credentials the moment they are available.
Storage and Logistics for Out-of-State Families
For families coming from significant distances, the between-semester storage question is real. Flying home at Thanksgiving with a residence hall closet’s worth of winter gear is not a realistic plan for most families. And the May move-out, with finals happening simultaneously, is one of the most logistically challenging moments of the college year.
Storage Scholars specializes in college student storage and shipping and has experience working with the specific logistical constraints of large residential universities. They pick up from dorms, store over the summer, and return items in the fall, which is a meaningful convenience for families who cannot make the drive to Champaign twice a year.

What is University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign’s graduation rate?
University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign graduates 73.2% of students in four years; another 11.9 points finish within six. About 94.8% of first-year students return for sophomore year. Each bar is compared to the national average, marked by the vertical line.
24.2 pts above national
21.1 pts above national
13.8 pts above national
Here is how to read these numbers: the four-year and six-year rates show how many students finish on time and eventually, and retention shows how many return after the first year. Wherever your student lands, the habits that keep them on track matter most: a full, well-sequenced course load, an advisor meeting every term, and using campus support early. See why most students don’t graduate in four years and how to choose the right classes in the right order.
