A partial withdrawal (dropping some but not all classes) has its own earlier 50% cutoff separate from the complete withdrawal 50% cutoff, so the deadline that applies depends on whether the student is dropping one class or leaving entirely, and families should pull the specific semester’s academic calendar rather than assume the prior year’s dates.
